 Cotel Contracting Inc. a NYC residential renovations company, was founded 20 years ago by principal Zvi Greenheim. The company has provided upscale renovation services throughout the five boroughs of New York City and the surrounding metropolitan areas.
The company is well respected for their NYC residential renovations which have included the expert combining of adjacent spaces and creation of duplex apartments, as well as the gutting and complete redesign of brownstones and single family homes.
Commercial work also includes restaurants, retail stores, manufacturers’ showrooms, office space and lobbies. Projects include both union and non-union labor.
Cotel Contracting is a NYC General Contractor, providing constructions projects, NYC home improvements, NYC residential renovations and all other related projects.
The Cotel team is comprised of a talented group of carpenters and artisans who have grown with the company since inception. Their sub contractors—plumbers, electricians, heating and air conditioning contractors, woodworkers, stone and tile vendors—are highly respected in their fields.
Cotel projects have been featured in design and trade magazines such as
Habitat and Restaurant/Hotel Design International. The company was the recipient of an award given by the New York Landmark West Association for its work in reconstructing a brownstone on the Upper West Side.
Mr. Greenheim received his bachelor’s degree from the Fashion Institute of
Technology. After practicing for a number of years in the interior design field,
his penchant for building and construction gave him the impetus to embark upon this venture. His understanding of architectural drawings and attention to details is the reason his firm is highly successful and recommended by a host of architects and interior designers, who can be assured that Cotel renovation projects always come in on time and on budget!
